For an interview with Ingenium Magazine, Elvira Fortunatoshared her opinions regarding the reindustrialisation process of the country, touching upon her article “The Success of Transparent Electronics”. She explains how transparent electronics has gained special attention during the last decade, with potential to replace silicon in multiple applications of electronics. Today it is one of the key technologies for a wide range of applications, and is one of the most promising technologies for new products in electronics for communication and interface systems, with high added value, away from traditional silicon technology.
